2 lbs halibut steaks
3 TSP butter
Salt and pepper
2 garlic cloves minced
1/2 C green onions
1/2 C celery
1/4 C green pepper
1/4 TSP oregano
1 TBSP sugar
8 oz can of tomato sauce
1/2 C white wine
1/3 C bread crumbs
1/3 C grated parmesan

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large pan.
Put salt and pepper on steaks and brown quickly on both sides
Combine garlic, onions, celery, green peppers, oregano, sugar, 1/2 TSP salt and pepper with tomato sauce and wine.
Pour into skillet around the steaks.
Sprinkle crumbs and cheese over top of steaks.
Bake at 375º uncovered for 20-30 minutes or until steaks flake easily and the top is brown.
