4 oranges
2 lemons
8 peaches
8 pears
8 medium apples
Approx 1 C of sugar, or desired amount

Directions:
Directions:
Squeeze juice from oranges and lemons.
Put skins through food chopper, combine with juice in large enamelled kettle and simmer for 5 minutes.
Peel and pit peaches; peel and core pears and apples.
Put fruit through food chopper and combine with lemon and orange mixture.
Measure combined fruit and add equal amount of sugar.
Stir well and boil hard, stirring constantly until thick and clear (about 30 minutes).
Ladle into sterilized jars.
When cool, cover with layer of melted paraffin and top with clean lids.
It's important to boil jam rapidly to retain color.
