1 C chopped onion
1 C chopped green pepper
2 TBSP salad oil
4 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
2 TBSP cider vinegar
1/2 TSP salt
1/2 TSP sugar
1/4 TSP dry mustard
1/8 TSP celery salt, pepper, and garlic powder

Directions:

Cook onion and green pepper in oil until they soft.
Place remaining ingredients into the pan and bring to a boil.
Once smooth remove from heat and allow to cool.
Cover and refrigerate.

Speaking with my Mom (Shannon), she has so many memories of Nana making homemade relishes over the years, so I felt it was important to include some. The recipe was translated over from her own writing which has now become faded in her old cookbooks. I imagine this one was used a lot!
