Crisco pastry for 2-crust pie (recipe in Cybil's Rhubarb Pie)
6 large cooking apples
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Line 9-inch pie plate with pastry. Pare, core, and slice apples and place in pastry-lined pie plate. Combine sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples. Dot with butter. Place top crust over apples and cut slits for escape of steam. Seal edges. Bake at 400º for 30-40 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown. (Follow Crisco pastry instructions to make crust in Cybil's Rhubarb Pie).
