Nut Bread (Mom’s) [Grandma (Margery) Houghtaling]
• 1 ½ C. Milk
• 1 C. Brown Sugar
• 1 Egg
• 3 C. Flour
• 4 tsp. Baking Powder
• 1 tsp. Salt
• 1 C. Walnuts, not chopped too finely

Directions:
Directions:
1. Beat sugar egg and milk,
2. Add flour, Baking powder and salt,
3. Add nuts, let rise for 20 minutes.
4. Bake 350 for 1 hour till done. Makes one loaf.
