3/4 C shortening
1 egg
1 C white sugar
2 C flour
4 TBSP molasses
2 TSP baking soda
1 TSP ginger
1 TSP cinnamon
1 TSP cloves
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together until smooth.
Add remaining ingredients until well blended.
Form into small balls and dim in white sugar to give "coated" look.
Place on well-greased pan and do not press them down.
Place in slow oven at 325º for 10-12 minutes.
