Personal Notes:
* Christa used "Knorr Fix zum Panieren" instead of brotchen.
** I use "Knorr Hackbraten" seasoning package.

In 1988, Stanley's fellow employee, Christa Baumbach, sent a sample of this home for his family to try. We loved this recipe, and Christa typed a copy for me and signed it. Christa became one of my dear friends in years to come and came to visit us in 1999 and loved America! Sadly, she died of breast cancer in 2001, months before we moved back to Italy. That typed copy is very special with her signature and is stained from the many times I used it.
