1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup water
dash cinnamon
1 ripe banana
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed (optional)

Directions:
In a small saucepan over medium to medium-high heat, combine oats, milk, and water. Sprinkle with cinnamon and stir to combine. Allow to come to a boil. Meanwhile, mash banana with a fork. Once oatmeal begins to boil (5-7 minutes), stir in mashed banana vigorously with a rubber spatula until well combined. Stir in ground flaxseed if desired. Allow to cook a bit longer if you prefer a thicker consistency. Serve topped with a spoonful of peanut butter.
