1 cup oatmeal, 1 1/4 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 cup fat, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 egg, beaten, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/2 cup peanuts

Heat oatmeal in oven. Sift flour, measure and sift again with salt and soda. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
