Filling:
1 1/2 pounds icing sugar
1 can Eagle brand condensed milk
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1/8 pound butter
1 tsp. vanilla or peppermint or almond or maple flavoring

Chocolate for dipping:
10 squares semi sweet chocolate and 1/2 cake paraffin wax
or commercial chocolate wafers

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter. Add corn syrup, milk, and flavoring and mix. Add sifted icing sugar and mix with spoon. Turn out on parchment paper covered board and knead with fingers till smooth. Roll into small balls and freeze overnight.
Melt chocolate (and paraffin wax if using) and dip each ball in it. Place on wax paper or parchment paper to cool. Store in a cool place.
