3 cans great northern beans, drained - Hanover 15 oz.
1 can butter beans, drained - Hanover 15 oz.
1 c. ketchup
1 to 3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c sugar
1/2 lb. bacon (center cut preferred)
small onion, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix together all beans, ketchup, and both sugars. In a frying pan, cut up bacon in small pieces and fry until very crisp. Add bacon to bean mixture along with half of the bacon grease and mix well. In a small frying pan sprayed with cooking spray, add onion and brown. Add to beans and mix again. Place in a baking dish and bake at 350 º for 45 minutes to 1 ho9ur. The beans should be bubbly and brown.

I got this recipe from a friend in Bel Air named Karen Falk - they are always a hit! I usually prepare them the night before and cover in the refrigerator and bake the next day. ~Linda
