2 cup graham flour
3 tbsp. butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
11/2 cup butter milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, egg, salt, and vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in butter milk.
Add butter milk and flour alternatively to the butter mixture. Bake at 450 º F for 10 minutes and reduce heat to 325 º F and cook for 10 minutes more.
Loosen from pans, place on a rack, and cover with a cloth. Let cool.
