2 c. flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
2 tsp sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2/3 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl. Cut shortening in with a fork. Add milk. pat out to a circle (1" high) and cut with a biscuit cutter or glass. Bake 10 minutes at 425º.
