2 cups cooked lentils
1 cup (measured dry) of whole wheat (or regular) macaroni of choice, cooked al dente
1 cup Marinara sauce
1-2 cups of chicken broth (depending on how you prefer it)
1 cup packed chopped spinach, chard, or kale
3-4 garlic cloves, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Start sautéing the garlic in about 2 tablespoons of olive oil or butter. Cook until golden and then add the spinach. Stir and cook for 30 seconds. Add the lentils, Marinara sauce and broth. Bring to a simmer and cook gently about 5-10 minutes. Add the pasta and turn off the heat. Stir well. Check for seasoning and consistency. Serve with grated cheese or even shredded mozzarella cheese.
