1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. stick margarine or butter, softened
1 large egg
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Granulated sugar
Hershey's kisses
Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix 1/2 cup granulated sugar, the brown sugar, peanut butter, shortening, margarine, and egg in large bowl.
2. Stir in flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
3. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours until firm
4. Heat oven to 375º
5. Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
6. Rolls in granulated sugar and place on ungreased cooking sheet
7. Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until light brown.
8. Press a Hershey kiss in the middle of each cookie
9. Cool 5 minutes, remove from cookie sheet and cool on wire rack
