1 c. Flour ( I use 1/2 white and 1/2 whole wheat flour )
1/2 t. Baking soda
2 t. Baking powder
1/2 t. Salt
1 1/4 c. Bran
1/2 c. Brown sugar
1 T. Melted butter
1 c. Sour milk ( or buttermilk )
1 egg, slightly beaten
Raisins, dates, or blueberries

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients together. Mix all wet ingredients together in separate bowl. Stir dry mixture into wet ingredients until just moistened. The batter will be lumpy. Stir in raisins, dates, or blueberries if desired. Spoon into greased muffin tins, 2/3 full. Bake at 425º for 20 to 25 minutes.
