2 sticks butter or margarine (1 c.)
1 c. brown sugar
1 large can Bruce's Yams

Directions:
Directions:
1. Melt butter in large skillet
2. Add brown sugar and let melt into butter
3. Drain yams and add to the butter and sugar mixture
4. Heat over low until hot basting yams with butter and sugar mixture

Note: The brown sugar is approximate and you can add more if the mixture seems to greasy.

This was always Mom's sweet potato recipe. She made it anytime we had ham, the holidays or if we had a ham steak during the week. The sweet potato juice as we call it is delicious and we put it over the ham, turkey, mashed potatoes and many other Thanksgiving standards.
