1/2 C sifted flour
1 1/2C white corn meal
1/2 tsp salt
1 T sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 small onion
1 egg beaten
3/4 cup milk
Directions:
Directions:
Measure and sift together flour, meal, salt, sugar and baking powder. Stir in chopped onion. Add egg and milk and stir only until ingredients are mixed well. Drop by tablespoon into hot fat in a deep frying pan. Fry until golden brown.
