1 lb linguine pasta
3/4 lb bacon - chopped
2 large onions - thinly sliced
2 large egg yolks
Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
* In boiling, salted water cook the pasta until al dente
Hold back 1 1/2 cups pasta water
* In a large deep skillet cook the bacon until crisp
Hold back 3 tablespoons of bacon drippings
* Add onions to drippings and cook until soft
* Add the pasta cooking water and bring to a boil
* Stir in the linguine and remove from the heat
* Add the egg yolks (one at a time)
* Add the bacon, season with salt and pepper
* Sprinkle with Parmesan
