4 squares Baker's unsweetened chocolate
¾ cup (1½ sticks) margarine or butter
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º (325º for glass dish). Microwave chocolate and butter for 2 minutes, or until chocolate is completely melted. Stir sugar into chocolate mix. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour until well-blended. Add nuts, if desired. Spread in greased 13" x 9" baking pan.

Bake 30-35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs. DO NOT OVERBAKE!

Cool in pan. Cut into squares. Makes 24 fudgy brownies.
