1/3 C shortening
1/2 C sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 C flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 C milk
2 sticks melted butter
cinnamon/sugar mixture

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Mix shortening, sugar and egg together.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
Blend dry ingredients in shortening mix.
Add milk.
Bake in muffin pan for 20-25 min.
Dip baked muffins into melted butter.
Roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture.
Serve while warm.
