6 carrots
1/2 stick butter
1 generous cup half &half
1/2 tsp. salt
2T corn starch mixed with 1/2 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Clean and peel carrots, chop.
Place in large saucepan and cover with water.
Cook in boiling water until soft.
Drain half the cooking liquid off and add the butter and half & half.
Add salt.
Add cornstarch mixture slowly, stirring, until sauce reaches desired consistency.

Good with mashed potatoes and meatloaf. Great with any meat that doesn't make it's own gravy liquid.
