2 cups flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, cut up & softened
1/4 cup raspberry (or strawberry) jam
powdered sugar to garnish

Directions:
In food processor (or mixer) combine flour, sugar & salt. Mix to combine. Add butter. Pulse to make coarse. Process until dough forms a ball. Wrap in plastic & chill 1 hour. Preheat oven to 325º. Roll 1/2 the dough @ a time,on floured surface to 1/8" thick. Cut hearts w/ cookie cutter. Cut smaller hearts out of center of 1/2 the larger hearts. Bake 10-15 min for large hearts, 5-10 for smaller hearts until slightly browned. Remove & cool on racks. Sift powdered sugar on the cut-outs & spread jam on solid cookies, Top sugared hearts onto jam hearts.

*These are very rich, so smaller is better.
