White cake mix
2 cups regular granulated sugar
16 ounce sour cream
14 oz. bag coconut (save some for decoration)
9 oz. carton of Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Bake cake mix according to directions on box in 8 inch round cake pans. Split layers in half to make four layers.

Mix sugar, sour cream and coconut. Refrigerate for up to 8 hours to allow flavors to blend. Spread between layers but not on top.

Use 9 ounce carton of whip cream to spread over top and sides and sprinkle left over coconut on top (I do sides too) of cake. Opt. maraschino cherries for appearance
