1 cup yellow cornmeal
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg, beaten
1 cup buttermilk
2 tablespoons oil

Directions:

Combine all ingredients and stir until well blended. Spoon batter into a well greased 8 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
