4 potatoes
1 onion
1 jalapeņo (or small can of diced chilis)
1 large can diced tomatoes
1 small tomato sauce
1/2 pan water
1 T lard (or unsalted butter)
Salt
Macaroni
Milk
Directions:
Directions:
All ingredients are approximate so use your own judgment but Papa makes a good pot of soup. Boil water and lard. Add vegetables and tomatoes. When vegetables are soft, add macaroni. Watch carefully and cook until noodles are done. Add salt and milk to taste.
