The key to Barbecuing Flank Steak is a good Marinade. It is an unusual looking cut of meat and you may have to ask for it at the Butcher's. It does turn out amazing! Well worth it. It can also be used in Fajitas.

1 Flank Steak about 1 1/2 pounds.

Marinade:

1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
1/4 cup Soya Sauce
1/4 cup Balsamic or regular Vinegar
2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
2 tsp Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tbsp Mustard ( regular or Dijon )
2 -3 cloves Minced Garlic
1/2 tsp Black Pepper

In a medium bowl, Mix all the Marinade Ingredients together.
Usually you cook the Flank steak as 1 large steak.

Place the Flank Steak in a large glass dish or Ziplock bag.
Pour Marinade over to coat thoroughly.
Refrigerate for 6-12 hours, turning meat occasionally.

Pre heat BBQ to medium-high heat.

Remove steak from marinade and discard marinade.
Grill meat 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
Remove from heat and let sit 5-8 minutes.
Cut meat into 1/2' strips against the grain on an angle.
