1/2 C butter
3/4 C brown sugar, firmly packed
2 medium eggs
1 C all purpose flour
1 C whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 C orange juice.
1/2 C raisins
3/4 C chopped walnuts
3 C apples, finely chopped

Preheat oven to 400º.
Spray cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine butter and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl, mix until smooth.
Add eggs and beat until batter is smooth.
In a separate bowl, combine white flour, wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Add 1/2 flour mixture to butter mixture and mix well.
Add orange juice. Mix again and add remaining flour mixture.
Mix until well blended.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
Carefully blend in apples until well blended.
Drop by tablespoon onto cookie sheet about 2 in apart.
Bake 12-15 min until golden brown.
