A great Vegetable dish, colourful and delicious. Can be prepared before company arrives and re-heated just before serving!

1/2 pound Green Beans cut into 1" lengths
2 Carrots, cut into small 2" strips ( julienned )
1/2 pound Fresh Mushrooms, sliced thinly.
1 Onion diced
1/2 cup Butter
1 tsp Salt to boil Green Beans and Carrots in.
1/2 tsp Seasoned Salt
2 cloves thinly sliced Garlic
Fresh ground Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook Green Beans and Carrots in a pot of boiling salted water till tender crisp. Do not over cook. Once done, drain.

Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet and over medium heat, Saute Onions, Mushrooms and fresh Garlic until tender. Add Carrots and Green Beans, reduce heat, cover and simmer 5 minutes. Add Season Salt and Pepper to taste.

If serving later, place in microwave proof dish and reheat later.

Fresh Green Beans are available year round at Costco.
Hy's Seasoned Salt is my preference as it seems to have the right amount of flavour without being too salty.
