1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup milk (may omit)
3 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla
8-9 cups puffed wheat

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large pot on stove. Add milk, syrup, (peanut butter), sugar and cocoa. Stir while bringing to boil. Continue to boil on medium high for 6-7 minutes while stirring constantly. If making without the milk, boil gently for only 3 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, then puffed wheat. Press into a 9X12 greased pan. Cool before cutting.
