3/4 cup uncooked rice
6 cups milk
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup seedless raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º
In a greased 21/2 quart baking dish place all ingredients. except raisins.
Bake in a slow oven at 325º for 2 1/2 hours, stirring twice during the first hour.
Stir crust into pudding several times during the last hour and a half.
During last half hour, stir in raisins before pudding is done.
Allow crust to form again on pudding.
Serve warm or cold with cream if desired.
