1 Lb diced lean pork, veal or chicken
2 cups diced celery
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp corn starch
2 cups chow mein noodles
2 cups chicken stock
1/2 cup diced onions
2 cups canned bean sprouts
1 can water chestnuts
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
vegetable oil
salt and pepper (to taste)

Directions:
Directions:
Fry your meat choice for 5 minutes in your vegetable oil.
Add chicken stock. Cover.
Simmer until the meat is tender. Add your celery and onion.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Moisten your corn starch with a little water.
Add to the mixture.
Add bean sprouts, water chestnuts and soy sauce.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Heat thoroughly.
Serve over chow mein noodles
