Saltine crackers
Peanut butter
Marshmallow

Directions:
Directions:
Spread peanut butter on saltine crackers. Top with a marshmallow.

Broil in the oven until marshmallow browns.

Remove from oven and top with another saltine cracker.

This recipe is from the 1940's when ready-made snacks were few and what few existed were unaffordable. Mama would make Margeurites for us when we returned home from school. We never missed the store-bought snacks.
