1/2 c. olive oil
3 yellow onions, cut into 1/2" bite-size pieces
3 cloves garlic, pressed
1 to 2 tbsp. cracked black pepper
1 to 2 tbsp. crushed red pepper
9 cans Hunts whole tomatoes
3 cans Progresso crushed tomatoes
1 tbsp. basil
1 tbsp. oregano
1 bay leaf
salt to taste
8 lobster tails - medium size cut with scissors (shell only front and back) thawed and drained thoroughly

Put olive oil in a tall large soup pot. Add onions over low heat until translucent. Add garlic, black pepper, and red pepper. In a blender, add whole tomatoes and puree. In a pot, add all tomatoes, basil, oregano, bay leaf, and salt. Cook over low heat for 4 hours. Add spice to taste then drop lobsters in the sauce. Cook for a half hour and serve with thin spaghetti.
