1 cup yellow cornmeal
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 can cream style corn
1/2 cup oil or bacon drippings
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients together for batter. Pour 1/2 of mixture into a greased skillet. Brown 1/2 to 1lb. ground meat and half chopped onion. Drain the grease and sprinkle the hamburger meat over the batter. Add 1/2 of a package of grated cheese. (You can add jalapeņos at this point; if desired) Pour the rest of the batter on top of cheese. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top. Bake at 350' for 45 minutes.
