2 pounds round steak
¼ cup butter
1 large onion, chopped
2 cans mushrooms (1/2 pound)
1 cup small strips of deli ham
½ cup red wine
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup beef broth
½ tsp. salt
Pepper
½ tsp. thyme
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. cold water
2 tsp. parsley, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Pound the steak to ¼” (or have the butcher get the meat ready) and cut into 6 pieces. Cook the onion until golden, add mushrooms and brown. Add the ham and cheese to the onions and mushrooms. Place this mixture on the steak pieces and roll, secure with toothpicks.

Brown the rolls and place them in a casserole dish. Add wine and stock to the left over ham mixture and thicken. Pour over the meat and bake for 1 hour.
