4 medium cucumbers, peeled

1/2 c white vinegar
1/4 c sugar
2 T chopped fresh dill
1/4 tsp white pepper

Directions:
About 5 hours before serving or early in day:
With sharp knife, cut cucumbers into paper-thin slices. In large bowl, mix cucumbers with 2 tsp salt. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour.
Drain liquid from cucumbers. Stir in vinegar, sugar, dill, pepper and 1 tsp salt until well mixed. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours
