- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
-1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 clove garlic (add extra)
- 6 saffron threads
- 1 orange
- 2 pouches cooked shrimp (3 1/2 oz. each)
- 1 cup Jasmine rice.

At Home: add butter to the other butter you are bringing. Pour the Balsamic into a leakproof container. package the salt and pepper with your spices. Garlic and saffron can be wrapped up. package the rice and keep the directions for it. Cook shrimp in garlic and butter, then dehydrate until dry, then package. Pack the orange.

At Camp: Start rehydrating the shrimp, use equal parts water. Cut the orange in half, squeeze the juice out into a bowl. Add the Saffron to the orange juice. Let this sit to infuse for a while. use this juice to cook the rice along with the rest of the water required. While the rice is cooking put butter, salt and pepper with the balsamic vinegar in a frying pan on a low heat. Add the shrimp, mince the garlic and add them in.

when the rice is cooked, remove the pot from the heat and set it aside. Get the shrimp nice and warm, Then serve.
