Directions:
Brown beef and and onion. Season with oregano and a bit of salt and pepper. Break up any lumps. Bring to boil and simmer slowly for 10 minutes. Put a bit of this on bottom of 9 x 13 pan - just enough to keep noodles from resting on bottom of pan.

In a small bowl, mix cottage cheese, egg and parmesan.

Assemble: Place in pan in this order: Bit of meat sauce on bottom, layer of raw noodles, 1/3 meat sauce, 1/2 of cottage cheese mixture, layer of raw noodles, 1/3 meat sauce, 1/2 cottage cheese mixture, 1/3 meat sauce, all mozzarella cheese (make sure cheese covers full pan).

Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or more until noodles are tender. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. (It needs to set before cutting)
