11/2 cup butter
11/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. almond extract
3 cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 cup hot milk
1 cup cherries, raisins or mixed fruit

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition.
Add vanilla, lemon and almond.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt three times. Dredge the fruit.
Add flour mixture to creamed mixture alternating with the hot milk. Then fold in floured fruit.
Bake in a ring pan for 1 hour.
Ice if desired with almond or butter icing.
