3 1/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. butter, melted
4 T. water
4 eggs
4 tsp. vanilla
2 2/3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. baking cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. nuts and/or 2 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease large cookie sheet. Combine sugar, butter and water in large bowl. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in medium bowl; stir into sugar mixture. Add nuts or chips if desired. Spread into prepared baking pan. Bake for 18-25 minutes. Cool completely.
