2 ½ cups Penne pasta
2 cups Asparagus, cut 1 ½ “ diagonally
½ cup Frozen peas
2 tbsp Flour
4 tsp Dijon Mustard
½ tsp Basil
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Pepper
2 cloves Garlic, crushed
2 cups Milk
¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp Lemon juice
1 tsp Lemon zest

Directions:
Directions:
In a Dutch oven, cook penne according to package directions, adding asparagus & peas for the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and return penne mixture to pan.

To prepare sauce, combine next six ingredients in a saucepan. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Bring to a boil over medium heat stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring frequently, until thickened. Add parmesan cheese and butter; stir just until melted.
Add sauce, lemon juice and zest to hot penne mixture; toss to coat.
Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese to taste.
