1/2 c parkay margarine
1 1/3 c sugar
1/4 c Kraft smooth peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 c of all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 c milk
1-9oz jar of Kraft pure strawberry jam

Peanut Butter Frosting:
1/4 c parkay margarine
1/4 c Kraft smooth peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 c sifted icing sugar
3-4 tbsp milk

Cake:
Cream margarine and sugar. Add peanut butter, vanilla and eggs; beat well. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition. Pour into 2 greased and floured 8 or 9 inch layer pans.
Bake @ 350º 35 - 40 mins. Cool 10 mins, remove from pan.
Spread 2/3 c jam between layers. Frost with peanut butter frosting.

Peanut Butter Frosting:
Cream margarine; blend in peanut butter, vanilla and salt. Add sugar alternately with milk, beating until light and fluffy and of good spreading consistency.
