¾ water
½ cup rice (not quick cooking)
3 cups milk

½ cup sugar

2 eggs beaten
2 tsp vanilla

2 tablespoons butter

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water to boil. Add rice and boil 5 minutes. Add milk and bring to a simmer for about ½ hour or until rice is tender. Add sugar and cook 5 minutes more. Add eggs and mix quickly to avoid eggs cooking and separating. Cook till thickened. Add vanilla and butter and cool.
