16 graham crackers rolled fine
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup softened butter
1/2 tsp cinnamon


Custard:
2 cups scalded milk
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp salt
3 eggs yolk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk in top double boiler, Mix well sugar, cornstarch, salt-add toscalded milk slowly stirring constantly over hot water until mixture thickens.
Beat egg yolks with blende with a little of the above hot mixture, then add gradually to mixture in a double boiler. Cook 2 minutes stirring constantly until thicken. Cool add vanilla
Pour into graham cracker crust
Top with meringue- 3 egg whites pinch of salt, 6 Tbsp sugar beat stiff not dry continue beating gradually add sugar beating until all sugar and egg whites stand in peaks.

This is the second recipe my Aunt Estelle Zelek Koza gave me for our favorite Thanksgiving pie. I'm not sure if she made both or which one was her favorite.
I put this recipe in our book because it was delicious and I still remember how much I loved it when I was a young girl.
I did make it once.
