1 pound cocktail sausages
1 pound bacon
brown sugar

Directions:
Pre-cook bacon until just soft and cut in thirds. Roll each smokie in bacon. Secure with toothpick and line in a 9X13 pan. Cover completely and generously with brown sugar. Cover and refrigerate overnight. (This step is important, the sugar melts.) Bake uncovered at 350 F until bacon is crisp. Serve immediately while very hot.
