1 c butter
2 c sugar
4 egg yolks
1 c milk
1 tsp vanilla
3 c presto cake flour
(If using regular flour add 3 tsp baking powder and salt)
3 egg whites (beaten stiff)

Mix in order given and bake at 375 for about 1 hour.
