1 c. butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 1/4 c. sugar
8 c. salted popcorn
1 1/2 to 2 c. nuts (any type)
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In 2 or 2 1/2 qt. mixing bowl or casserole, combine butter, syrup and sugar. Microwave at high 9 to 15 min. or until brittle threads form when dropped into cold water stirring every 3 min. In a buttered 5 qt. or larger container combine popcorn and nuts. Stir vanilla into cooked syrup and immediately pour over popcorn and nuts. Stir with metal fork until well coated. Spread mixture in single layers on 2 pieces of waxed paper. Let stand until firm. Break into small pieces.
