1 Cup Quick Cooking Rolled Oats
1⅓ Cups Boiling Water
½ Cup Butter
1 Cup White Sugar
1 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
2 Cups Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Cinnamon
½ tsp Salt

TOPPING

6 Tbsp Melted Butter
½ Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Coconut
½ Cup Chopped Walnuts
¼ to ½ Cup Evaporated Milk or Cream

Directions:
Directions:
Place rolled oats in a bowl and pour over it the boiling water. Stir and let cool.

Cream together butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Beat in eggs. Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt add to egg and butter mixture. Then fold oatmeal in and place in a greased and floured 9x12x2 pan.

Bake @ 350º for 20 - 30 minutes

While cake is baking make topping. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, coconut, chopped walnuts, evaporated milk or cream. While cake is hot spread topping over cake.

Broil 4 inches from burner until melted and bubbly
