3 Cups Oatmeal
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Flour
1 Cup Butter ( melted )
1 tsp Baking Soda
¼ Cup Boiling Water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix oatmeal with sugar, flour and salt. Add melted butter and mix well. Dissolve soda in boiling water and add to first mixture. Form dough into a roll and chill thoroughly. Slice and bake 5 minutes at 400ºF.

I add mixed fruit or glazed Cherries & Nuts.
The chilled dough may be kept in the fridge indefinatly.
